Stage 1

Exploratory Call

Agenda:

15-30 - minute Exploratory Call: In this session, the Recruitment Partner will guide you through the process, focusing on understanding your background and assessing your fit for the role and company. We'll cover:
  • Your background and experience.
  • An overview of the role and company culture.
  • An opportunity for you to ask any questions about the role, team, or organisation.
Stage 2

Hiring Manager

Agenda:

30-45 minute Hiring Manager interview stage: This will be an in-depth discussion with the Hiring Manager to explore your experience, the role, and any key questions you may have. The interview may cover the following areas:
  • A detailed review of your background and skills.
  • Discussion of the role’s requirements and how your experience aligns.
  • An opportunity for you to ask any questions regarding the role or company culture.
Stage 3

Pairing Session

Agenda:

1 hour Pairing Session: In this session, you will work with two of our engineers solving a real-world problem that our teams face regularly. 
  • You’ll work with the engineers to tackle a practical problem.
  • We recommend using a laptop and development environment you’re comfortable with.
  • We’re happy to pair using your preferred tools (e.g., Vim + Python3, Emacs + Clojure, etc.).
Stage 4

Tech Q&A

Agenda:

1 hour Technical Q&A: This session will be conducted by two of our lead engineers, who will focus on your technical experience. No specific preparation is required, but the interview may cover.

Tech Lead interview 1: Delivery, Technology and Teamwork.
  • You'll be asked to talk through a project of your choosing and your role in the team, explain the architecture, lessons and outcomes.
  • Explaining previous team structures
  • Other general topics such as approach to choices of technology and your aspirations in next role.
Tech Lead interview 2:  Strategic Impact, Leadership, Influence & Communication

  • Discussing previous projects again in context of the technology strategy
  • Your approach to leadership
  • Working with/influencing stakeholders and xfn teams
Stage 5

4th Interview

Agenda:

30-minute Cultural Interview: This session will be led by two of our leaders at Tempcover, focusing on your career journey, experiences, and goals for the next role. During the interview, we will cover:
  • Your professional background and key achievements.
  • How the role aligns with your career aspirations.
  • The role’s evolution within the team and any concerns raised during the process.

Final Stage Interview: Cultural fit
